As a result of this association to address high maintenance cost problems involved with maintenance on Wheelie bin side lift units (annual repairs to pins and bushes & Rotary actuators where some units have reduced 4,000 hours or less lifecycles) our GL20 Long Life Side Lifter was developed.
The heart of the GL20 is our Australian designed and manufactured 20,000 hour design life rotary actuator prototypes of which have been working in the field for over 7 years without failure. New design sealed bearings and hardened pins and bushes have been introduced to further reduce down time and maintenance costs.
Particular attention has been made to improving bin grab and rotation tip and bin end placement geometry to reduce garbage spills and bin damage.
